Donors provide financial resources to New Hope. Without our donors, we would not be able to provide our programs at no cost to all who grieve. Our donors include former workshop participants, on-going group participants and people who have a passion and love for New Hope’s ministry to the bereaved.
New Hope receives no government support or health insurance payments. Our funding comes from business sponsors, workshop partnerships, grants and individual donors. Individual donors are our key source of funding; however approximately 50% of our funding comes from individuals.
There are many ways to donate including:
Sustaining Member – Sustaining Members donate monthly to New Hope through credit card or electronic funds transfer (checking account). Through their generosity, we have a steady stream of funding so we can provide grief support to anyone who needs it even during times there are no workshops scheduled. Click here for the sustaining member form.
Appeals – New Hope has two fundraising appeals throughout the year – one in the spring and one in the fall. These appeals allow us to provide funding for programming materials, communications and the operational expenses of running New Hope. If you would like to be included in our fundraising appeal mailings, please call us at 248 348-0115 so we can add you to our mailing list.
One-Time Donation – Other people prefer to give according to a less structured schedule. Please click here for directions on how to do that http://www.newhopecenter.net/ways-to-give/donate-now.html
Wall of Hope – The Wall of Hope is a wonderful way of remembering your loved one and donating to New Hope. For a $100 donation, we place a 3x5 picture of your loved one that you provide on the Wall of Hope at New Hope. Click here for the Wall of Hope form.
Memorial Donations – Many people prefer to remember their loved one through a memorial donation to New Hope in their loved one’s memory. Memorial Donations that are contributed as part of a New Hope event are recognized at the event.
Please consider becoming a New Hope donor. If you would like more information on donating to New Hope, please call Karen or Rick at New Hope.
