Spouse Loss Groups

The death of a spouse can be incredibly overwhelming and leave us feeling lost and alone.  New Hope Center for Grief Support offers a peer-led support group that can help you on your journey towards hope, healing, and new beginnings.  Whether you are in Early Grief, navigating life Transitions, or ready to Move Forward, we provide a safe space for you to talk about your grief and connect with others who've experienced a similar loss and can help.

 

Starting Again-Northville

Meeting Times:
1st and 3rd Thursday from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Group Meetings

Wayfarers

A support and social group for senior widows and widowers. 
Meeting Times:
2nd Wednesday each month from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
No registration required - just show up.

Widowers

Men's support group for all men who have lost their spouse, whether recently or years ago.

Meeting Times:    
2nd Thursday of each month  7:00 p.m.
No registration required - just show up.

Loss of Child

Navigating through grief after the death of a child is incredibly difficult.  But, you don't have to go through that process alone.  As a peer support group, we want to give you a safe space to talk about your grief with others who've experienced a similar loss and help support you through the unique challenges you may be facing. 
Small groups for parents who have lost a child are offered at some of our From Grief to New Hope workshops.  New Hope also offers monthly support groups at the following times and places:
