NEW HOPE SPONSORED ONGOING SUPPORT GROUPS

New Hope offers different types of support according to life circumstances.  Our core groups are listed below.    New groups and activities are scheduled throughout the year.  If you don’t see a group listed for you, or aren’t sure which group is best for you, please call New Hope at 248-348-0115 for guidance. 

Wayfarers

For semi-retired or retired widows and widowers, and they meet in Room A107 at Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Sojourners - People on a journey through life's seasons

A support group for widows and widowers of all ages that provides a forum in which participants can share strategies for dealing with grief with others who understand.  It is recommended that participants have attended a grief series or workshop first such as "From Grief to New Hope".

1st Monday of each month from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Beyond Grief (B.G.'s)

A monthly dinner meeting for widows and widowers who are ready to find new beginnings, explore new opportunities and meet new people.  This group is for those who are ready to begin socializing again.

2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
