FUN FOR ALL AT 2011 NEW HOPE FOR THE NEW YEAR

On December 2nd, New Hope’s friends and supporters came together for a wonderful evening of fellowship and holiday cheer!  Through the generosity of Toll Brothers once again this year, we filled their lovely Harding Country Manor model at Steeplechase of Northville with over 180 guests.  Their home was truly our home for a night!  Guests enjoyed touring the model, mingling with old and new friends, and having a chance to win great raffle baskets, Christmas trees, and wreaths.

Jay Kilgus entertained us with his great sounds.  He sure got the crowd singing and dancing as his tunes filled the air!  And so many local restaurants donated delectable food selections and no one went away hungry.  Contributing restaurants included: Aubrees, Biggby Coffee, Border Cantina, Bravo, Buca di Beppo, Brann’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Cassel’s, Diamond Jim Brady’s, Genettis, George’s Senate, Hungry Howie’s, LeGeorge, Los Amigos, Macaroni Grill, Main Street Catering, Med Fresh, Rusty Bucket, Station 885, and Table for Five.  When you’re thinking of somewhere to dine, please be sure to support these generous local restaurants!

New Hope raised over $13,000 for our outreach and everyone had a great time!  This year, we were honored to have several sponsors of this event present, including our “Wrapped Gift” Event Sponsor, New York Life.  Other sponsors included:  All American Pet Resorts, Park Avenue Financial, Alan Walthall, Comerica Bank, Edward Jones Investments, Feldman Automotive, Harry J. Will Funeral Home, James B. Williams, CFP, KB Jewelers of Northville, Livonia Kiwanis Early Risers, Law Office of Richard Lemke, R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Sabre Steel, Inc, and Weingartz Supply Company. We extend our sincerest thanks to all of you who participated in this New Hope fundraiser either as an attendee or volunteer.

An event such as this could not happen without the assistance of our many supporters.  Thanks to all of you who were on the planning team or helped out in one way or another. Your time, energy, and services are truly appreciated so very much.  Your help is what allows New Hope to keep going and continue its mission of making sure that no one goes through their grief journey alone.  We couldn’t do it without you!
