A BIG THANKS FOR SUPPORTNG OUR GOLF OUTING

WOW!!!  We made history at the 2011 “Good Grief” Golf Outing:  it was the first time in 13 years that we had to cancel the golf portion of the event because of the rainy weather and course conditions! The event wasn’t a complete washout, however, as so many of our golfers and supporters did come out in the afternoon for dinner, auctions, and all the festivities.  Our Italian theme was clearly evident with the decorations and music.  A special thanks to our DJs, Dave and Lisa Mulligan for the wonderful music they supplied, as well as our emcee, Lauren Podell. Once again, she was a great auctioneer and contributed lots of laughs. With the auction, dinner and sponsorships, New Hope raised over $23,000!!!

So much hard work and planning went into this year’s outing.  A special thanks to our hard working committee who spent so many hours putting this event together. Team members include Lindsey Baird, Pattie Bingham, Tim Cassidy, Cathy Clough,  Sandy Gaggi, Lori Hollinger, Chris and Pat Lowes, Cheryl Majeske,  Michelle and Dick Ratliff, Judy Rae,

Dan Veres, Sheila Wade, Tim and Deb Wood, and Sharon Zieglar.  Your time and service and all that you donated is so appreciated by New Hope.  And thanks to everyone who volunteered at the outing, as well as those who sponsored a hole or donated a prize item for the auctions and/or drawings.  This event wouldn’t happen without all of your support.  Everyone here at New Hope thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.  Be sure to mark your 2012 calendar for the 14th Annual “Good Grief” Golf Outing on September 8th.  Looking forward to seeing you then!
